India Government collaborates with IBM to do free blockchain courses for students

The American tech giant – IBM has partnered with India’s National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) to publish the 12-week online course named “Blockchain Architecture Design and Use Cases.”

This first Indian educational action between one of the key players in https://staging.asiablockchainreview.com/?s=blockchainblockchain industry and Indian state agency is considered as the embracement of blockchain and consolidation of the country stance. Its registration is now still open for new enrolment and the program will start from July 30.

All the courses will be free and available on NPTEL website, however, the certification issuance may requires fee and also examination. The students are required to submit the weekly assignments and pass the final test to receive the certificate which also is certified by IBM

The program will cover well-know application of blockchain which is cryptocurrencies (especially Bitcoin and Ethereum) and blockchain in details and its scalability in different industries such agriculture, supply chain and customer identity.

NPTEL believes that the coordination with IBM in offering educational blockchain program will encourage more organization to move forward and have more engaging move towards adopting emerging technologies in India.
